Sanuja Goonetilleke joined WolfBrown in the summer of 2018. She holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, where she is now a Teaching Fellow in the Arts in Education program. Her prior educational research and policy experience includes internships at the National Education Commission of Sri Lanka and at the SchoolWorks Lab. While in graduate school, she worked with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra’s Crescendo program, the Du Bois Orchestra’s marketing, evaluation and grant writing projects, and Without Borders, an education-based social enterprise in Sri Lanka. She was also a Teaching Artist in Flute at the Conservatory Lab Charter School in Boston. Born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka, she holds a Bachelor of Music degree (summa cum laude and Honors in Flute Performance) from Converse College, SC. There, in addition to performing in ensembles and summer music festivals, she was a University Innovation Fellow affiliated with Stanford University’s d.School, and received the Senior Excellence Award. She remains active as a flutist, and performs in the Du Bois Orchestra. |
