Architectural League of New York
WolfBrown worked with the Architectural League of New York to conduct a capital campaign feasibility study. The League, which focuses on “architecture, urbanism, and related disciplines,” mounts an ambitious schedule of lectures, workshops, programs, awards, exhibits, and publications, as well as a rich web site. Anticipating a move from its current space, the League sought assistance in developing a campaign strategy to purchase and build out a new space in New York City. WolfBrown conducted initial interviews that were presented to a retreat of the full League Board for a discussion of options and the board’s role. The consultants then worked with the League to create a draft case statement. A series of feasibility interviews followed with potential donors who received the case statement in advance. The resulting report laid out an analysis of the League’s goal, and a plan for moving forward. WolfBrown also provided a series of prospective donor profiles. The consultants finished the project with a strategy discussion with League leadership to determine next steps.
