Boston Ballet
WolfBrown consultants worked with Boston Ballet on a two-part project. Part I was a financial assessment of the Ballet in which the consultants analyzed the causes of the financial challenges facing the company, reviewed the operational and financial response to these challenges, assessed the current financial systems of the company, and considered trends based on historical data. A report was prepared that summarized findings and made short- and long-term recommendations to the Ballet to improve their financial systems and operations.
In Part II of the project, the consultants developed some general future profiles of the company based on successful models in the field with associated implications for mission, image, artistry, industry and community profile, finances and fund raising, staffing, and governance. The aim of developing these scenarios was to develop a rebuilding program toward long-term organizational sustainability.
