Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Region
Grand Forks, North Dakota suffered a devastating flood in 1997 and is still recovering from that disaster. The Community Foundation, with funding from the Knight Foundation, contracted with WolfBrown to conduct a cultural pre-planning project for the region. The consultant spent several days in Grand Forks, talking to representatives of arts groups, educators, elected officials, and business leaders. The recommendations of this project will guide on-going work on restructuring the Arts Council and another, Knight-funded marketing initiative.
