Emerson College, Boston Celebrity Series, and Boston Foundation
WolfBrown was asked to undertake an assessment of the potential for a strategic alliance between Emerson College (a higher education organization in Boston that owns several important theatres) and the Celebrity Series of Boston (a major international presenter based in Boston). The project was jointly requested and funded by the two organizations and by the Boston Foundation. A WolfBrown consultant interviewed the key players and developed a short situation paper that identified the potential for a strategic alliance, options for what it might look like, benefits and challenges that must be addressed, other relevant considerations, and next steps in order to consummate the alliance.
