Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department
WolfBrown consultants conducted a year-long planning and assessment project that focused on the Department’s grants programs, public art programs, cultural heritage programs, and related staffing and structural issues. The purpose of the report was to re-design the operations of the agency to meet new budget restrictions. Recommendations were derived from extensive on-site interviews with City officials, City staff, Commissioners, panelists, and other constituencies. Separate reports were issued that outlined recommendations in each of these areas, with the culminating report on staffing building on recommendations in each of the prior reports. The reports on grants programs and public art included detailed information on related model programs from across the country.
