National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse
As part of its long-term commitment to train senior administrators, WolfBrown created a series of workshops and discussion sessions devoted to developing specific skills in individuals working to prevent child abuse. Initial workshops were offered at the national conference of the National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse and covered topics relating to managing a nonprofit organization, fund raising, and trusteeship. Subsequent, smaller group sessions dealt with the specific challenges being faced by individual administrators and used the group process to identify solutions to those problems. Managing A Nonprofit Organization in the 21st Century by Thomas Wolf was a basic text for these sessions.
