Research for Action
WolfBrown has worked with Research for Action (RFA) since 2003, when this Philadelphia-based nonprofit educational research organization received a major challenge grant from the William Penn Foundation. The grant enabled RFA to conduct a comprehensive research and community outreach project evaluating school reform in Philadelphia. WolfBrown assisted RFA in approaching and securing several million dollars in support from William Penn and other national and Philadelphia-based foundations. By providing fund-raising research, strategic counsel, and proposal and grant report writing services to RFA, WolfBrown was instrumental in RFA developing funding relationships with the Carnegie Corporation, the Spencer Foundation, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Surdna Foundation, the Philadelphia Foundation, and others.
