OASIS—Open Accessible Space Information System
The Open Accessible Space Information System (OASIS) is a unique coalition of nonprofit organizations, public agencies, businesses, grassroots groups, educational institutions, and individuals whose centerpiece is a national model website that enhances environmental stewardship by providing a common, online, open space inventory. WolfBrown consultants were contracted to assist in the development of a strategic plan, the primary goal of which was to develop a vision for the long-term sustainability of OASIS. Through a series of meetings with the Planning Group and an extensive battery of telephone interviews with key constituents, WolfBrown consultants assisted OASIS in developing criteria for solving its structural challenges and over time actually effected a major organizational transition to a new host organization. Additional planning work resulted in a longer-term vision for OASIS.
