San Diego Commission on Arts & Culture
As a component of a larger community cultural planning process, WolfBrown developed a plan that focused on the needs of culturally specific organizations and artists of color in San Diego. WolfBrown ‘s culturally diverse team of consultants addressed such major issues as the needs of both established large-budget organizations and newer, often ethnically-specific organizations. They worked with a community based Steering Committee, and, as part of their process, interviewed more than one hundred individuals. The actions they recommended were approved by the Steering Committee, and the City’s Commission on Arts and Culture has begun to implement them.
