Bard College
WolfBrown consultants assisted Bard College with planning for its new $62M performing arts center (101,612 square feet) designed by Frank Gehry Partners with acoustics by Yasuhisa Toyota. The facility, now named the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, includes a 900-seat theatre for music, dance, and drama performances; a 300-seat theatre; studios and classrooms; rehearsal spaces; and offices. The Fisher Center also serves as the home of the College’s Theatre and Dance programs, other College functions, and the nationally acclaimed Bard Music Festival each August. Consultants assisted with the development and definition of a mission and vision for the facility and the search for the facility’s first director.
