Los Angeles Opera
By 2002, the L.A. Opera will be the primary tenant of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for the first time in its twelve-year history. In anticipation of the coming opportunity for growth, L.A. Opera enlisted WolfBrown for a developmental strategic plan. The L.A. Opera launched the planning process with a board retreat facilitated by the consultants. Working closely with the Board/Staff Planning Committees and the Executive Committee, WolfBrown identified five areas, which comprised the framework of the strategic plan. Out of group discussions with these core committees, discussion papers were drafted and revised in each of the five areas and ultimately constructed into one comprehensive strategic plan.
