Mid-America Arts Alliance/Kansas Arts Commission
WolfBrown pioneered the concept of “opportunity planning” with this project that was sponsored by the Mid-America Arts Alliance on behalf of the Kansas Arts Commission. Through interviews, constituent group discussions, planning meetings of the Arts Commission board and staff, and an iterative process of plan drafting and revision, WolfBrown and the Commission identified areas of opportunity, ways of capitalizing on those opportunities over a three to five-year period, and resources and partnerships that could be tapped along the way. The Commission made significant and well-received changes in its operations and programmatic focus as a result of this planning process.
