Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance
Cultural planning for one of the most vibrant cultural communities in the nation is a complex task — Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, and Delaware counties have over 2,000 square miles of territory, millions of residents, and hundreds of cultural institutions, many of them world-famous. With an array of differing interests and priorities, planning in the five counties required months of behind-the-scenes discussions as well as context-setting interviews and meetings. WolfBrown consultants worked with the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, which received funding from the Pew Charitable Trusts for this work. The consultants coordinated the process, designed and implemented research, conducted fact-finding interviews, and facilitated an Executive Committee. A final report divided initiatives into those that could be accomplished right away and those that would take a greater investment of money and time.
