Play On, Philly!
WolfBrown has worked with Play On, Philly! since 2012, supporting this young organization’s rise to prominence as a national leader in the field of music education. In 2012 and again in 2017-18 WolfBrown worked with Play On, Philly! to develop strategic plans that addressed their governance, market position, fundraising, programming, and operations. They have also worked to produce evaluations tailored to the organization’s theory of change: that high-quality music education can confer benefits to children’s cognitive and socioemotional development. The results of this work were reported in Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts, a leading peer-reviewed journal published by the American Psychological Association and have since been cited by papers and appeared in Early Childhood Research Quarterly, Learning and Individual Differences, and PloS one.
