Detroit Symphony Orchestra Webcast Evaluation

Sean Fenton, Alan Brown and affiliated researcher Brian Kisida will be on-site in Detroit leading a series of focus groups, classroom observations, and an expert panel as part of an intensive evaluation of Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s “DSO’s Live from Orchestra Hall: Classroom Edition” webcast program on April 28.

Reframing El Sistéma

Dennie Wolf and Steven Holochwost will present at the conference “Reframing El Sistéma” to be held at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) on April 8 and 9. They will be sharing the design and early observations from the national study of the impact of orchestral training for young people in Sistema-inspired programs.

Cosmopolitan Club, Philadelphia

Joseph H. Kluger will speak to the Cosmopolitan Club in Philadelphia on Thursday, December 10. Chicago History Museum

John Carnwath and Alan Brown will facilitate a staff workshop at the Chicago History Museum, exploring results of an extensive visitor segmentation study.

Northwestern University

John Carnwath will speak to doctoral students in the humanities at Northwestern University about arts research conducted beyond the ivory towers.

Ingenuity Panel Discussion

National Arts Marketing Project Conference 2015

Rebecca Ratzkin will be a panelist for a session on “Measuring Diversity” at the 2015 National Arts Marketing Project Conference, with Sean Fenton moderating.
